Wedding planners always ask what time of day you plan to have your wedding. They say they need to know for set-up time. While this is somewhat true, they also want to advise on what the groom and attendants should wear. Weddings in the morning (between 10AM and Noon) the code calls for a morning suit. A Morning Suit is a one button cutaway coat with gray trousers. Weddings held between Noon and 6PM call for a dressy suit. The groom can choose to wear a navy or black blazer. It is appropriate to wear gray or white trousers with the navy or black blazer. The groom can also wear a dark, fine business suit. Weddings held between 6PM and 8PM call for wearing a tuxedo. Weddings and dinner events after 8PM call for Tails. Tails

Many people ask what is the best attire to wear to this event I’m attending. The first question is always; What time is the event? The style protocol seems to have gone from black tie to now wear what you want to wear. More recently, we are seeing men wear the tuxedo to balls, the symphony, and dinners/fundraisers.
